MFactor, the Bay Area’s premier meeting and incentive company, is looking for a highly skilled Cvent Expert to join our team on a contract basis (4 - 6 months; Mid December through Spring 2025). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management technology, particularly with the Cvent platform, and will assist in executing high-quality events. This position will work closely with our event planning and marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution and optimal use of Cvent’s features.
Location: Remote or Hybrid (specific location optional)
Duration: Mid-December through Spring (approximately 4-6 months)
Compensation: Competitive; based on experience
Responsibilities:
Configure and manage event builds in Cvent, including registration workflows, attendee management, and reporting.
Design and implement customized registration pages and event websites using Cvent tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Cvent platform in a timely manner.
Provide expert advice and best practices on utilizing Cvent for large-scale events.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event data is accurate and accessible.
Develop and deliver Cvent training sessions for team members as needed.
Generate detailed reports and analytics to track event success metrics.
Support live event execution, including virtual, hybrid, or in-person events.
Qualifications & Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience with the Cvent platform, including registration, event website design, and reporting.
Strong understanding of event planning processes and lifecycle.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility to travel on programs
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Cvent platform is a plus

Contract Cvent Expert
Registration Coordinator
This position requires both domestic and international travel (15-20%) throughout the year, so a valid passport is required. The ideal candidate would be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Any event experience in a Registration Department or third-party meeting and incentive company is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
The ability to multi-task multiple programs and clients, and pivot at any given day, at any given moment
The ability to understand a project from start to finish and contribute to the overall success of each program
The ability to work on a project both individually and collaborate as a team
The ability to communicate to program attendees, suppliers, and colleagues in a clear, precise, and detailed manner
Follow-up and acknowledgment of tasks, deadlines, and due dates
Assist in program detailing
Ability to create correspondence such as emails, texts, reporting, and various other types of client communication
Field questions from attendees and executives to update their registration profile from the beginning of registration to the program's conclusion
Monitor all program registrations, multiple email inboxes and guest requests
Identify travel parameters, perform QC (quality check) processes on arranged air travel, and serve as a liaison between the air team, the client, and MFactor
Manage all aspects of the hotel room block management including but not limited to attrition, pre/post extensions, budgeting, and accommodations
Assist with planning offsite events, creating and sending clear communications, collateral, ordering and receiving
Work closely with MFactor team, clients and vendors
Coordinate program collateral, special touches, and custom details
Follow, manage, and contribute to the registration process and timelines
Ability to keep detailed notes during internal and client meetings for later reference

Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and Google Suite

Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
